The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has shared a reaction regarding the agricultural sector.

Through a communication from the cell, Meta states that millions of euros of money donated to farmers by the European Union ended up in the pockets of "strategic investors" for villa and resort swimming pools.

According to Meta, the government's agricultural lending program is simply a new scam.

Faced with this rampant corruption, the EU cut off grants for Agriculture for the next two years.

A full 120 million euros in donated money was taken away from our farmers, because the EU wants the money from corruption returned.

Meanwhile, the mockery of farmers, livestock breeders, and agro-processors continues, promising them loans with sovereign funds.

So since the money forgiven by the EU for you dear farmers ended up in the pockets of corruption, then the Head of the Organization invites you to apply for sovereign loans just as he lied to you in 2015, in the same way and with the same banal deception.

We are the only country in Europe where agriculture receives zero European funds, while Serbia benefits from a full 280 million euros.

We are the only country in Europe that suppresses domestic production with a 20 percent value-added tax.

There is no agriculture in the EU that is financed with loans, but only with direct donated money.

"Therefore, "Credit Agriculture" is simply a new scam," Meta said. /CNA
