Kalaja: The recount for the Durrës region showed that there was vote fraud

The DP candidate in the Durrës District, Aulon Kalaja, declared in today's appearance before the Constitutional Court that he will also pursue the legal path in the Constitutional Court, following the results of the vote recount.

Kalaja stated that there is video of vote fraud in this district.

"You closed the boxes. I will also pursue the path to the Constitutional Court. You made the decision to close the boxes, you must implement the law, that's why you are there. The recount also showed through videos that there was vote tampering. There are other videos of boxes that have not been set to be opened. In the last meeting, you told me here that if violations were found, the others would be reopened as well," said Kalaja.

Earlier, Kalaja made a request in front of the CEC premises, where he asked to know how many votes he had from the May 11 elections.

"I will pursue all legal means. I went to the KAS for legitimacy, to the Electoral College. I am in a battle in the Constitutional Court. I will open another case now, I will address SPAK and it will be SPAK that should not violate the law. The prosecution will seize the ballot boxes. I am in a battle that I will go to the end. I still do not know how many votes I have. I have the right to know how many votes I have", said Kalaja. /CNA
