"We are a non-political country"/ Lubonja: Power and crime distort the vote

Analyst Fatos Lubonja, in his stances regarding the May 11 elections, said that Albania is a non-political country.

In a television appearance, Lubonja stated that power and crime distort the vote.

Lubonja called the institutions a continuation of the dictator Enver Hoxha.

"Power and crime distort the vote. It is a vote that comes from the power you have, from the honors you can do. We are a non-political country, this is not a state, society has not built its own state, here everyone has their own gang, they are police but they collaborate with crime, who steal votes together with those of crime, the Prosecution is the same. They do not function at all. These are a continuation of Enver Hoxha, they have that arrogance. It is a culture of domination of charlatanry", - said Lubonja./CNA
