EU Ambassador Gonzato: Justice Reform Has Influenced the Country's Integration Path

The European Union Ambassador to Albania, Silvio Gonzato, has stated that the Justice Reform has yielded the expected results and has significantly impacted Albania's path towards the EU.

"I want to see the glass as half full and not half empty because we need to maintain these positive steps that have already been taken," Gonzato declared.

Gonzato also commented on the progress of the KLP in evaluating prosecutors according to performance,

The Ambassador said that criteria such as efficiency, ethics, and managerial skills should be reviewed in a structured manner.

Among other things, he added that the responsibility for accountability does not only belong to the KLP, but also to institutions such as the ILD and the School of Magistrates./ CNA
