The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, stated in today's press conference that the rallies in front of the Prime Minister's Office will continue in the coming days. Berisha described this as a battle to restore free voting to citizens.

Asked if he intends to overthrow Edi Rama with the rostrum he has erected in front of the Prime Minister's Office, Berisha said he was not naive to think so. He further said that the rostrum is the voice of citizens and parliamentarians against this government.

"That's why we imposed the platform in front of the Prime Minister's Office, that Rama is the chief thief. We are not leaving, we are here. We consider this battle decisive, because we are in an autocracy, in an authoritarian dictatorship. We have begun the analysis, but I guarantee that now our strategy is a decisive battle to return the free vote to Albanians. We are not backing down, we have started it.

"But we have judged that this is a platform that is working and will work. We do not ask for anything else except that Albanian citizens cast their free vote. Now is our proof. No, I do not think that I will overthrow Edi Rama with the platform, I am not naive. The platform is the voice of citizens and parliamentarians against this government ," Berisha said. /CNA
