Analyst Fatos Lubonja commented on the situation within the Democratic Party, as the third "Foltores" protest took place this Monday.

In a television studio, Lubonja said that the leader of the Democrat Party is well aware of the problems within the party, but it is not known how much trust Albanians have in those who could be considered as possible names for the new leadership.

According to the analyst, Berisha's leadership can be challenged in two ways, through the "soft way" and the "hard way".

 “Albanians don't say 'we need more democracy', but they say 'who is the leader we can give power to?' This is the logic of the common people.

The game is: what will Berisha do? How much trust does Berisha have in these people? Will they manage to create trust as a new leadership? Can unity be maintained and the leadership changed? This should be discussed more transparently in the party structures, which are not meeting.

Berisha's leadership can be challenged in two ways. The first, the "soft way", through suggestions and gradual awareness, where Berisha can withdraw on his own. The second, the "hard way", which involves direct challenge and open competition within the party, something that, according to him, the DP does not have functionally built.

My intuition says that these people will fail with the hard way. They will be told that they were bought by Rama, etc. They must find the way themselves, through transparency in the party. Berisha knows this problem, it's not that he doesn't know it", - Lubonja said. /CNA
