Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi spoke this evening regarding the upcoming national protest to be held on February 20 and the opposition's demands.

In a television appearance, Këlliçi said that the opposition is seeking a technical government with a 1-year term to guarantee the dismantling of the patronage system in public administration.

"The only formula, or the only option that the DP accepts and the opposition accepts, not only the DP, is a technical government, at least 6 months or 1 year, to guarantee the dismantling of this entire patronage system once, that the public administration goes to work only to work on election day. They work so that once every two years the elections are stolen. The performance of the work does not matter. By appointing technocrats, by dismantling the head, because the entire system is seized by the head and is held and the guarantor is the head, who is Edi Rama, therefore today the names that leave and come have become irrelevant. It is one man, one individual, one man show, it is Edi Rama. The employees will not be violated by the minister and the director who either bring 5 identity cards to vote for the SP or they will leave their jobs. If this happens, everyone will be fired ," said the Democrat MP.

Këlliçi said, among other things, that the February 20 protest will be more intense than Tuesday's, in all forms. He further added that people are more motivated for the next protest and said that they are demanding a radicalization of the DP's action.

"It will be an even more intense protest than the one on February 10, in all forms, logistical, organizational and reactive. That's all I can say. People are not tired, on the contrary, they are more demanding of us, and they are more motivated to come to the next protest. They are demanding our radicalization. Radicalization will also happen in the protest, I guarantee you, it will also happen in the Parliament hall, it will also happen in the Council of Regulations and Mandates, wherever we have the opportunity, it will happen", said Këlliçi. /CNA
