The US Embassy in Tirana has shared a message from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio from his speech at the Munich Security Conference.

Rubio spoke in Munich about the US-Europe partnership, where he emphasized that we need an alliance built with courage towards the future. He also said that we need an alliance ready to protect people, safeguard interests and protect freedom of action.

Recall that during the Munich Security Conference, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the US and Europe belong together. While he praised the historical importance of a strong US-Europe alliance, he also made it clear that the Trump administration believes that the way forward requires a change in the way these countries work together.
