Balla: Partnership with Germany key to advancing Albania's European agenda

The Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party, Taulant Balla, during his stay in Germany, where he is participating in the Munich Security Conference, held a meeting with Adis Ahmetovi?, member of the German Bundestag, who is the main voice for foreign policy in the ranks of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).

During the meeting, the very good cooperation between the Albanian Parliament and the German Bundestag, as well as between the two parliamentary groups, was appreciated.

The parties shared the belief that the partnership between Albania and Germany remains an important pillar in advancing our country's European agenda.

The focus of the discussions was Albania's European integration process, with particular emphasis on the need to move forward without any delay during the years 2026–2027, with the aim of successfully concluding negotiations for membership in the European Union.

Balla expressed gratitude for Germany's continued support and stressed the importance of further political and parliamentary coordination to guarantee sustainable progress in this strategic process for Albania./ CNA
