Drug trafficking and being part of a criminal group/ GJJKO issues verdict for 3

The GJKKO has issued a verdict for the three defendants, Adriatik Logli, Kristi Dautaj and Xhuliano Aliu, who were arrested in March 2022 as part of a SPAK operation, where 5 criminal groups were hit.

The GJKKO ruled in favor of the defendant Kristi Dautaj, sentencing him to 10 years in prison.

Shetasti Xh.A was sentenced to 5 years in prison for the crime of "Production and sale of narcotics".

While Adriatik Logli was declared innocent of the criminal offense of "Abuse of office", as his guilt was not proven.

The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has submitted to the Court the request with the subject: "Trial of the criminal case against the defendants Adriatik Logli, Kristi Dautaj and Xh.A."

2. The trial of this case was conducted under the rules of summary trial. At the end of the trial, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a panel composed of judges Olkeda Lice, Marinela Osmani and Matilda Fetahu, with decision no. 14, dated 13.02.2026, decided:

1. The not guilty plea of ??the defendant Adriatik Logli, for the criminal offense of "Abuse of office", provided for by Article 248 of the Criminal Code. 2. The guilty plea of ??the defendant Kristi Dautaj, for committing the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", within the framework of a structured criminal group, and based on Articles 283/1, 28/4 and 334/1 of the Criminal Code, his sentence to 10 (ten) years of imprisonment.

3. The guilty plea of ??the defendant Kristi Dautaj, for committing the criminal offense of "Structured criminal group", and based on Article 333/a/2 of the Criminal Code, his sentence to 2 (two) years of imprisonment.

4. In application of Article 55 of the Criminal Code, the defendant Kristi Dautaj is sentenced to a single sentence of 10 (ten) years of imprisonment.

5. When serving the sentence, the time served under the personal security measures "Prison Arrest" and "House Arrest" for the purpose of this criminal proceeding shall also be taken into account.

6. The guilty declaration of the young man in conflict with the Xh.A law, for committing the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics", within the framework of a structured criminal group, and based on articles 283/1, 28/4 and 334/1 of the Criminal Code and article 51 of the Criminal Code, his sentence to 5 (five) years of imprisonment.

7. The guilty declaration of the young man in conflict with the law Xh.A, for committing the criminal offense "Structured criminal group", and based on Article 333/a/2 of the Criminal Code and Article 51 of the Criminal Code, his sentence to 1 (one) year of imprisonment.

8. In application of Article 55 of the Criminal Code, the punishment of the young person in conflict with the law Xh.A with a single sentence of 5 (five) years of imprisonment.

9. When serving the sentence, the time served under the personal security measures "Prison Arrest" and "House Arrest" for the purpose of this criminal proceeding shall also be taken into account.

10. The sentence for all defendants sentenced to imprisonment in this decision will be served in a high-security prison.

11. Procedural expenses incurred during preliminary investigations, according to the minutes for recording investigation expenses, and judicial expenses, according to the respective minutes for recording judicial expenses, in reference to Articles 393/1 and 285/1 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, shall be borne by the defendants who plead guilty, jointly and severally.

12. The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime is charged with the execution of this decision.

13. An appeal against this decision is allowed within 15 (fifteen) days at the Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, starting from the day after the notification of this decision./CNA
