The Kukes Prosecution Office, at the end of several months of investigations, has led to the arrest of 3 people suspected of 'Production and sale of narcotics'.

The decision was made for three citizens, AI, EK and HE, after an operation that led to the seizure of 459 grams of cocaine.

Announcement:

After a three-month investigation by the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Kukës, in cooperation with the crime investigation structures at the Local Police Directorate and the Special Operational Force of the General Directorate of the State Police, the arrest of three citizens, AI, EK and HE, was made possible.

The arrest was carried out within the framework of investigations carried out with special methods on criminal proceedings no. 677, of 2025 registered for the criminal offense 'Production and sale of narcotics', provided for by article no. 283 of the Criminal Code.

During the proceeding with stimulated purchase, 12.5 grams of suspected cocaine were seized and during today's operation, 459 grams of suspected cocaine were found and seized.

Investigations continue to document the criminal activity in order to identify other persons involved./ CNA
