French President Emmanuel Macron was present at the FII (Future Investment Initiative) International Forum, where he also delivered his speech.

Macron said that Albania is a key point in the Mediterranean and Europe. The French president encouraged investors to invest in Albania, as there have been previous results.

Macron further stated that within two years Albania will be part of the European Union.

“ It is extremely good to have you in Europe. I know you come from different parts of the world, and this is a stable and reliable place. In this world, do not underestimate the power of such qualities, and I am very happy that you are here. Beyond the jokes I make with Prime Minister Edi Rama, here in Albania you clearly have an important entry point into the Western Balkans, but also beyond. Albania is a key point in the Mediterranean and in Europe. Therefore, I encourage you to invest in Albania, because it has strong leadership. I am not speaking only because it is my friend, but because it has brought results. In the next two years, having a clear mandate, Albania will become part of the European Union, and I want to assure you that we, as Europeans, will deliver results. We already have a strong alignment between France and Germany and we will do our utmost to realize the agenda that we have discussed. Please, invest in Europe, believe in the strong Europe that we are building, because we need your trust and "Your investments. This will help us to realize this ambitious agenda, which is right not only for Europeans, but also for other regions, to create as much stability as possible ," Macron said. / CNA
