The Vice President of the Democratic Party, Oerd Bylykbashi, reacted today regarding the problem of the lack of valid identification documents for voters from the diaspora and the refusal of their voting.

Bylykbashi said that these efforts are unjustified because they can be resolved by institutions.

Also, Bylykbashi added that all voters should be given the opportunity to vote, even by using other means.

He then asked the Assembly to discuss this problem within two weeks.

"The CEC notes the possibility of voting due to the deadlines for identification documents.

What about the others who, for other reasons, are not on the list?

There are two legislative positions, an amendment from the opposition and one from the majority.

Move quickly and within 2 weeks to align positions and agree on the problem of Albanian citizens who are prevented from voting.

Get voters from outside to vote to be part of the change.

Every effort should be made to enable these 2 weeks to be used for voting.

The SP's stance on denying the right to vote to those with invalid documents is to control the vote.

Citizens must be identified even if they present a document or passport from a foreign country, or a property document drawn up before a notary.

It cannot be justified as an absurd request.

It has no electoral interest, but it opens up the opportunity to vote.
