Rama from Davos: Foreigners are investing extraordinarily in Albania

During the meetings taking place in Davos, where the World Economic Forum is being held, Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke in the session on the topic "The Way We Travel" led by Richard Quest from CNN International.

During his speech, Rama focused on the new investments and projects that will be developed:

"We need to have more investments. We are trying to do the maximum, knowing the extent of protected areas and creating tools and engaging international architects to see projects different from those we have seen in the Balkans."

We have surpassed Belgrade airport. Compared to the airport during communism, at that time we had a deserted airport with an average of 5,000 tourists per year.

"We ended last year with 12 million tourists per year."

Regarding the question about attracting foreign investment, Rama said:

"I think it's important to say that we have some growth advantages from the past. Saudi Arabia and the Gulf countries are wonderful countries and are investing extraordinarily in knowledge and top-level skills."/ CNA
