Draft law on recognition of years of service/ Hado: It will have an effect on pensions

The Laws Committee met today to discuss the draft law "On the recognition of periods of employment in state institutions, former state enterprises, former agricultural enterprises and former agricultural cooperatives for pension purposes in the 6 social insurance systems".

The Director of the Social Security Institute, Astrit Hado, said that this draft law will have an effect on pensions, as through the recognition of years of employment in these state institutions, an immediate increase in the percentage of pensions will be seen, as previously pensioners lacked years of work.

The committee also discussed whether there will be any easing of procedures that accelerate open court proceedings for the recognition of years of service./ CNA
