Berisha after leaving SPAK: 130 million euros of Albanians disappeared from the Tirana incinerator

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has made a statement to the media after his exit from SPAK where he appeared in implementation of the security measure "compulsory appearance".

Berisha stated that 130 million euros of Albanian taxpayers' money disappeared from the Tirana Incinerator. He further added that no senior official has yet been arrested for this serious affair.

"The Tirana arsonist, 130 million euros missing, money of the citizens of Albania, taxpayers. And in total, Taulant Tusha and Namik Simixhiu are accused. And two ordinary employees, that's it. So, there is no more ugly act than for 130 million euros not to have a high-ranking official in handcuffs, be it a minister, a deputy prime minister or a mayor. This is the amnesty of crime ," Berisha said. /CNA
