Agrarian Environmentalist Party MP Artan Luku has reacted ...

The Speaker of Parliament, Niko Peleshi, has reacted on social media regarding the incidents that occurred today in front of Parliament.
Peleshi writes that nothing can justify violence against the police or members of Parliament.
Further in his reaction, Peleshi states that when protests turn violent, it undermines security and democracy.
" Nothing can justify violence against State Police employees, members of Parliament or public institutions. Albania is built on dialogue, respect for the law and institutions, not on confrontation."
The right to protest is a fundamental right and must be exercised peacefully. When protest turns into violence against people, it undermines not only their safety, but also the very values ??on which democracy is built.
Full solidarity with the State Police officers injured in the line of duty and a speedy recovery.
Attacks on members of the Albanian Parliament are unacceptable.
"Nothing good is built from violence and chaos ," Peleshi writes.
