Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted on social media in response to journalist Klevi Muka's accusations that Porto Palermo Bay has been privatized and that a villa complex will be built there.

Rama states that the video denounced by Muka was created with the help of ChatGPT and, according to him, was used to spread disinformation among public opinion.

The Prime Minister further adds that the government has rejected a series of requests for construction in the Porto Palermo area over the years and that this Bay has been declared a natural monument to be protected from construction developments.

Rama also announced that, in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Culture, the project for the creation of the Cold War Museum in the Porto Palermo tunnel is being finalized, as well as the rehabilitation of the adjacent military unit for tourist purposes.

Because after we have turned down a series of requests over the years for construction in that area, where there was a mess of property titles given carelessly at the time of the great fragmentation of property in Albania, I personally asked the government to approve the protection of the entire Porto Palermo bay from construction.
