"Protests, a sign of democracy"/ Rama to BBC: PS will give the country

Prime Minister Edi Rama has spoken to another international media outlet regarding political developments in the country and the protests that have been taking place for more than a month against the government.

In an interview with the BBC, Rama described the protests as a sign of a healthy and democratic society.

And while many officials and former officials of his party and government have been arrested by order of the Special Prosecution, he was asked by the BBC whether Albanians should be concerned about the integrity of the prime minister.

In his response, the head of government emphasized that he wants justice that does not look left or right and that cannot be bought.

He also added that this is the greatest contribution that the Socialist Party will make to this country, as according to him, it will not only contribute by making reforms, but by giving its skin to the country.

"I have said it since day one: I want justice that does not look left, does not look right, but looks right. Justice that cannot be bought, cannot be pressured and cannot be controlled from a distance. And I have also said that this is the greatest contribution that the Socialist Party will give to this country, because it will not only contribute by making reforms, but by giving its skin to the country ," Rama said.

Meanwhile, regarding the demands of the protesters in the square, Rama has stated several times that he will not resign, although protests have been taking place outside his office for more than a month. / CNA
