Berisha: 6,157 citizens with expired cards were DP voters, Rama punished them
The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha

The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has pointed the finger at the government regarding the exclusion from voting in Himare of 6,157 citizens, whose means of identification had expired.

Berisha claimed that these citizens who were not accepted were voters of the Democratic Party.

He said that for this reason Prime Minister Edi Rama denied voters the right to vote.

According to him, this act was a punishment and a punishment for the inhabitants of Himara.

"I send a greeting tonight to all the citizens of Himara, who exercised their constitutional right in a vote that comes after the monstrous robbery of Fredi Beleri's mandate, by Edi Rama and his gangs.

My friends!

Today again the elections in Himare proved the complete intolerance, they proved the monstrous electoral, state crime. They witnessed the true face of Edi Rama.

Today Edi Rama denied the right to vote, to exercise the constitutional right to vote to 6157 residents of Himara on the pretext that their identity cards had expired.

This punishment, this punishment of the citizens of Himara, that their cards had expired while only the date had expired, but none of the security elements that proved the citizen's identity had changed, is a criminal act, it is an act that proves for the fifth time that with Edi Rama, there are no free elections and there won't be any," declared Berisha during the speech at the night protest, on "Mustafa Matohiti" street./ CNA
