In a post on Facebook, the head of the DP, Sali Berisha, states that the exclusion from voting of hundreds and hundreds of citizens of Himara is an unconstitutional act. 

Berisha points out that by order of Edi Rama, hundreds of citizens identified as mainly supporters of the opposition were not allowed to vote today due to the date of their identity cards.

He underlined that the Democratic Party condemns with the greatest force these serious unconstitutional acts of Edi Gjipe and his puppet Vangjel Tavo and guarantees that justice delays, but does not forget.

The exclusion from voting of hundreds and hundreds of citizens of Himara, an unconstitutional act. Dear friends, by order of Edi Rama today, hundreds of citizens identified as supporters of the opposition were not allowed to vote due to the date of their identity cards.

This is an unprecedented act, an electoral state crime, a violation of the Constitution that has the sole purpose of manipulating the election result by Edvin Gjipea. I clarify here to the citizens that this standard was not implemented in the elections of May 14 and in the laws of the country, even after the issuance of biometric cards in its absence, the old ID cards that fully proved the identity of the person were also accepted.

The exclusion of hundreds of voters from the right to vote, the intentional and programmed change of the voting centers of hundreds of citizens, the addition to the voting lists of hundreds of citizens from Dropulli, Saranda or the rich people of touristic villas on the coast are illegal mafia actions that seriously accuse directly to Edi Ramen and Vangjel Tavon for ugly electoral crime. The Democratic Party condemns with the greatest force these serious unconstitutional acts of Edi Gjipe and his puppet Vangjel Tavo and guarantees that justice delays, but does not forget. /CNA
