The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, while reporting to the Commission for European Affairs, called on the opposition to create a national alliance in the fight against drug use. 

The Minister emphasized that the School Safety Package, which he stated has so far produced results. 

"Mr. Agalliu spoke about criminality and drug trafficking. I want to make it very clear that I think the war on drugs should be a battle where we all have to be involved. As part of the security package in schools, we have results. I want to share a very significant fact that drugs bring to our society. We have set the fight against narcotics as one of the main objectives. A call to the opposition, to be part of building a national coalition, with everyone, civil society, religious faith with the appeal that tax kills society", said Balla.
