Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke again about "low cost" tourism in Albania, which has attracted a large number of visitors to our country.

Rama said that Albania should not create the perception of "low cost" tourism. He stated that the reason why he does not want such tourism is because it does not bring income.

The head of the government emphasized that 400 yachts bring as much income to the Albanian economy as 40 thousand "low cost" tourists.

"Albania should not be characterized, profiled and concluded in the new perception it has created as a place of 'low cost' tourism. We do not want and cannot be a 'low cost' tourism country. We must be a country where there is low cost tourism, but also where there is high level tourism that brings big consumers because they bring much more money to our economy.

What 400 yachts bring is equal to what 40 thousand 'low cost' tourists bring, to be clear. This also applies to those who say they support yachts, we do not support yachts, we support the economy and therefore tourist ports must be created and therefore Albania must become a country that brings as many yachts as possible, as many small tourist ships as possible and as many tourists as possible, who, when they touch the ground, consume 50 times more than the person who comes through the ground" , emphasized Rama./ CNA
