Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha made a strong statement this evening, as he spoke about the tense Kosovo-Serbia situation and the positions of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Berisha said in a television interview that Rama held a meeting with the Serbian president, Aleksandër Vucic, in New York.

He claims that this meeting was kept secret because of a diabolical plan that the head of government cooked up with the Serbian president.

"He miscalculated. He had a secret meeting, according to sources, with Edi Rama, in New York and he considered that Albin Kurti was the man demonized by the international community and that his deceits, shameful, created in a myth and not a reality at all , of the terror that is allegedly exercised against the Serbs in the northern municipalities by the Kosovo government, which is an absolute lie, have taken hold and in some way, according to him, they would justify before the international community this rebellion of the northern Serbs organized by Belgrade". said the head of the DP.

According to him, the request to place the municipalities of northern Kosovo under the control of KFOR was a scenario prepared in the secret meeting.

"He never described the attack and killing of the Kosovo Police officer and the wounding of two others as a terrorist act. Second, he never cited Belgrade or Vucic as the organizer of this act. Thirdly, he reached the most extreme cynicism, he did not express condolences for the Bonjaku family and the Kosovo Police forces. Finally, the most important requested urgently the placement of the municipalities of the north of Kosovo under the control of KFOR.
