Balla: Voting for the SP makes it possible to have EU written on your passport

The Political Leader of the Socialist Party for the Diaspora, a single-party party and candidate in the Tirana district for the May 11 elections, together with the Minister of Interior Ervin Hoxha held a meeting in unit no. 1 in the capital, where they met with citizens of Librazhd who live in this unit.

In his speech, Balla said that the Socialist Party's goal in the May 11 elections is to win a strong mandate.

"Why are we talking about a strong mandate? Because I believe we know that there is no doubt or discussion that the Socialist Party will win on May 11. I also see some former democrat friends here. The reason is that today in that political arena there is no other force to compete with the SP. What is left of the DP has come with the same team in Tirana as in 2013: you have Nard Ndoka, Jozefina Topalli, Mediu, all those who accompanied Saliu in the 2013 defeat. A deeper defeat awaits them on May 11," said Balla.

The Socialist Party comes to this confrontation with a concrete proposal, said Balla. "By voting for it, it becomes possible to have the European Union written on your passport."

"We are waiting to receive the seal. Who else will do this? So people should use the candar well. I guarantee you, even as the leader of the diaspora, that the diaspora will be a great hurricane. We need 84 mandates to make reforms, as happened with the diaspora vote 3 years ago.

Balla said that the Socialist Party is seeking 22 mandates in Tirana.

"That's why we want to get 22 mandates in Tirana, because we have all the opportunities to fight for the 22nd as well. The truth is that Tirana is an example of Edi Rama's transformation work."
