The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, focused today on a part of the DP's economic plan. In a statement to the media, Berisha emphasized that the DP aims to reduce fuel prices and taxes, promising a 10% change.

Berisha said that everything will be done for the most complete digitalization of business activities.

Berisha declared that the informal economy will be halved.

Regarding investments, Berisha said that he will establish fiscal incentives and financial support for investors under the age of 35.

Berisha promised that students and professionals will be supported each year with grants of 5-30 thousand euros for startups that will be launched.

"The 'Rama' fuel tax is being reduced and fuel will not be sold in Albania at a price that differs by +-10% from that of Kosovo and Macedonia."

Inspections by various inspectors in businesses will be reduced by 4 times.

Everything will be done for the most complete digitalization of business activities.

Fiscal legislation will be simplified to the maximum extent possible, to ensure the sustainability of the fiscal code and laws.

All fiscal incentives granted by preferential laws and decisions, ordered by family members and oligarchs of government officials, will be canceled.

They pay a 6% tax, at a time when citizens pay a 20% VAT.

The law on strategic investments, as it is, will not exist. The Strategic Investment Corporation, the largest corruption corporation in history, will end in the first week of the DP and allies' government.

The current system of fines and penalties hostile to business will be completely reviewed.

VAT will be reimbursed in real time and will no longer be at ministerial discretion.

A board will be established immediately to determine compensation for the consequences resulting from the change in the exchange rate, in defense of entrepreneurs and domestic production, as the narcoeuro has become a Demokleus proclamation for them, and they will be compensated.

The informal economy will be halved.

The medium-term target for budget revenues will be 30%.

In the entrepreneurship program, there are several categories that will receive special treatment.

These are the youth, women and the diaspora. Zero social and health insurance for 12 months, for the first employment of young people by the entrepreneur up to the age of 25.

Also exemption from paying income tax until the age of 25.

Fiscal incentives and financial support for investors under the age of 35.

"The burden of profit tax will be removed for women who open a business and social and health insurance will be subsidized for them and their staff, on the condition that at least half of the employees are women and girls, or young people up to the age of 30," Berisha said. /CNA
