Rama inspects projects in Saranda/ After the pedestrian zone, 5 new investments

Prime Minister Edi Rama, after concluding the meeting with young entrepreneurs in the field of tourism, continued his inspections in Saranda, closely observing interventions in some of the city's most important projects.

The Rma inspected the "Skënderbej" pedestrian zone, the "Multifunctional Reception Center" with 75 parking spaces for cars, buses, taxis, as well as the rehabilitation of 'Rruga 5', interventions which aim to ease seasonal traffic and increase the tourist offer in the city.

Prime Minister Rama walked through the area where the projects are being developed, together with the Mayor Oltion Çaçi and the Director of the FShZh Dritan Agolli to learn about the progress of the investments so far.

Rama praised the work done and called it a liberator of the city's spaces.

"Saranda seems to be a pretty good environment in these parts that are being intervened. It's as if it has taken a breath, it has been liberated," Rama said.

Rama promised that investments will continue on "Rruga 6", in the transformation of the former maternity hospital, in the Museum of the Underwater World, the reconstruction of the Palace of Culture, as well as the new headquarters of the University of Saranda./CNA
