The legal representative of Lulzim Basha's DP, Indrit Sefa, reacted to the decision to cancel the July 29 elections and to Gazment Bardhi's statement.

Sefa describes Bardhi's statement as ridiculous, while claiming that the cancellation of the elections has embarrassed the democrats.

He declares that they will not withdraw, but will continue normally the process of electing the president on July 29.

"There is nothing more ridiculous than today's statement by Gazment Bardhi, who charges and discharges DP institutions, including the presidency, after an imaginary meeting ends.

Every democrat today feels ashamed for this next misuse that Sali Berisha is doing to DP MPs for his personal interests. The problems of Sali Berisha are not the problems of the democrats. And all those who serve his goals have written their fate in the 3 decades of Albanian pluralism.

We wish Mr. Bardhi success for creating the first digital party in the country. It is an innovative step that should be applauded. DP, for its part, will normally continue the process of its reformation and the election of the president on July 29. This is the only way we can serve the purpose of the democrats in confronting Edi Rama's regime", emphasizes Sefa./ CNA.al
