Former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, complained to the prosecutor investigating the sterilization case, accusing her of tarnishing his image, his family, Rama's government, and the Socialist Party.

Journalist Ola Xama commented on Beqaj's reaction and said that she sees it as a hidden message that if he is tarnished for sterilization, the SP is tarnished as well.  

"Mr. Beqaj is right about the big question that can be asked of the prosecutor or the Special Judge."

Is it just Beqja, businessman Rrapaj or former deputy minister Rrjepaj, or are there others who were contracting authorities, other heads of the Ministry of Health, other ministers?

We have a contract that continues to receive funds from the state budget, 19 million euros will be received for 2025, and it is a contract blessed and protected by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"That's why what Beqaj said to the court seemed like a hidden message to me, that you cannot tarnish my name or that of the SP, so if I am tarnished for sterilization, the SP is tarnished too," said Xama./ CNA
