Prime Minister Edi Rama, present today at the presentation of the OECD/SIGMA report, stated that work is still needed to digitize public services.
In this presentation, where OECD Head Gregor Virant is also present, Rama said that in-depth testing is being carried out in this field, to help citizens as much as possible.
Rama said he is proud of the advancement in this aspect, as according to him, Albania is a leading country in the region for digital services.
"We are making many efforts to help citizens due to problems with the administration.
We are in a time of technology and digitalization.
I am happy for the administration.
We are a leading country in the region.
We are also among the leading countries in Europe when it comes to digital interactions.
We had 47 million interactions.
Online services are also used by Albanians abroad.
The legislation is adapted to European countries.
I am optimistic that we can do this process with artificial intelligence.
"We are conducting tests for an in-depth x-ray of the legislation," Rama said. /CNA
