Prime Minister Edi Rama today explained a little about the idea that, according to him, lies at the core of the creation of a Bektashi state within Albania.
In a virtual conversation with citizens, Rama said that this is not about a state that divides Albania, but about an ethnicity that has no police, customs, or taxes.
He further added that this idea corresponds in all aspects to the Constitution of the Republic of Albania.
Question from a citizen: How will the Albanian state be torn apart with a stroke of a pen? Does the Italian state seem to you to be torn apart because it has 2 structures within itself?
Rama: "In our case, it's not about building a state in that sense. It's about an ethnicity that doesn't have police, customs, or taxes."
