State Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, stated today that a change is needed in some technical elements of the Electoral Code.
According to him, the request will be sent to the Assembly. Celibashi said that at the moment he does not believe it will be a problem if this change does not happen.
In a press statement with journalists, Celibashi said that the CEC has the list of voters from abroad and it is planned to begin preparations for the ballot.
"We have submitted a proposal for changes to several technical elements of the Electoral Code.
There will be no problem with the external voting process.
The cost of postal service payments for overseas voters is discussed.
The Assembly has been asked to change this provision.
There is a proposal to have an online platform.
The ballot counting procedure is another proposal, which is not a problem at the moment.
I don't believe it will be a problem if this change doesn't happen.
The application process ends on March 4th.
We have the list of voters from abroad.
"We think we should start preparing the ballot," Celibashi said. /CNA
