Inverted priorities in reborn healthcare

There are people suffering from life-threatening illnesses, waiting in line for vital medicines and treatments at the QSUT. Often these situations remain unresolved.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health is absurdly rushing to issue guidelines for hormonal treatments (Order No. 304, dated 28.04.2026).

As a citizen, I respect everyone's freedom of choice, and as the mother of a young man, I am deeply saddened by how their rights and freedoms are being abused...

As a doctor, I care deeply about and fight as hard as I can for patients who suffer the consequences of a collapsing healthcare system like ours.

I believe and appeal that patients suffering from life-threatening illnesses should be the priority of medical services and not give way to protocols that have hidden interests behind certain agendas.

PS I would really like to hear what those outraged citizens think about hormonal therapies, who when they lack elements of service accuse us doctors of "abusing" their taxes.
