"Albanians are a people who read the newspaper a lot!",- says the priest at one point to the general in the novel "The General of the Dead Army!" Of Kadare.
It is true! Albanians have been a highly politicized people, whose only source of information was the only newspaper that was published or the radio that was listened to. Even today we are politicized people, but even though we don't read or only read the news headlines on FB and portals; since we don't listen, because we are lazy, we continue to comment and judge in cafes or the beach.
Summer definitely needs a log to postpone the day at the beach.
But it is not exclusively our phenomenon, this! All over the world they deal with their governments. What they did, what they didn't do and what they will do. Even in those countries, which do not have a government, they try to have a government.
Unlike the rest of the world, in Albania we deal with the opposition. What he did, what he will do, how he will do it... Matter of perspective.
In one point of view, it is right to deal with the opposition, since it will be the government of tomorrow and if the opposition is not cleaned and fixed, change will not come.
Meanwhile, the media is full of articles, chronicles, ideas, proposals and other reports about what Berisha said to the Balkanists; what Basha declared before the structures; on which structure or mountain or lawn did Meta step; au finally became the "amazon with heels" Monika; what lesson about democracy was given by muli, Albana or the son of the late Gaqo Nesho...
Some want two or more parts to become one. Others want the two to make a third, some want the Frankenstein method to be followed, for the dead pieces to make a living one!
But having your "mind" on "politics" when diving into the sea is strange.
Then?
Many of those who deal with the Albanian opposition think that it is something serious and important! And people are interested in it!
Bullshit! It is neither serious nor important!
All countries in the world move forward when they have good government. No country ever developed because it had good opposition. A good opposition puts pressure on the government to do good things.
But everything in Albania has no intention of falling! On the other hand, who cares how much opposition the country will have? Two, three or seven? Who cares what the real opposition is, the pawn opposition, sold and unsold? As this type of discussion determines its importance and seriousness.
In Albania, we talk about the opposition, because its impotence and helplessness is not something that belongs only to it, but to all of us. Because the populism of the opposition will not magically make it stronger, lower prices, reduce unemployment, stop depopulation and eat with golden spoons.
But this very serious issue loses its importance and seriousness when you see who is involved in the debate!
And I don't want to mention the names of the opposition leaders, because I've mentioned them many times and it seems like I'm factoring in idiocy and coarse language with their 100 word vocabulary... That's the point. All of them (you guessed it)... argue about "who" that doesn't exist. And they refuse to discuss the "how" and mostly the "why", which are the crux of the discussion. And then they make theories about the unification of the opposition. But even if it was put together according to Frankenstein's model, it is still dead!/CNA
