Tirana celebrated and roared today in several arteries, and there is nothing bad here. Even though the setting up of the decor blocked the traffic in the city since yesterday at noon, causing chaos and urban stress, even though the decoration of the municipality and its organization has the main purpose of making the mayor look good in the media, still the atmosphere is good for a day the city.

The problem is that days like this are used by leaders and the mayor to cover up the many things that don't go well.

With the music blaring and scenography on the boulevard, the number of schools is not increased, the polluted air is not cleaned and the torturous traffic is not reduced, but the idea that things are going well is stuck even more.

Today, Tirana is the only capital in Europe that does not have a National Theatre, a National History Museum and a National Art Gallery. These are three cult buildings and symbols, which are signs in the identity of a nation and the heavy weight of a capital, everywhere.

Only in Tirana, which is every year triumphant of some kind of title, as the capital of something, probably of sport recently, these three main centers of art, culture and history are non-existent. They don't work. They are not found.

It is not a whim of nature, nor is it the result of any war, bombing, or tragic accident. It is mainly the work of two people, Edi Rames and Erjon Veliajt.

As if Tirana were their backyard, they have removed these 3 institutions with one drop of the pencil. The theater is a ruin. The museum was declared closed. There is a fence around the gallery, and no one can enter.
