By Andi Bushati/ Who is threatening Irena with three adjectives
Judge Irena Gjoka

The conservative Greek newspaper "Ta Nea", very close to the party in power in Athens, published today a denunciation according to which the judge of the sensational proceedings, Irena Gjoka, tried to cross the border of the neighboring state with forged documents and, moreover, as as a result, he was banned from entering this country. Of course, without being naive, no one doubts that the news "leaked in the media" is random.

For a long time, Sali Berisha, as well as the one judged by Gjoka, in the process of privatizing the Partizani club, had warned about this from the balcony of house arrest. Both the media close to him, as well as the lawyers of the democratic leader, were aware of the fact, even for days there were rumors that Fredi Beleri would make the documents public in the last session of the trial.

There is no doubt that such a thing is done on the eve of the announcement of the sentence for the elected mayor of Himara.

There is also no doubt that the reenactment of an event from 22 years ago, when today's Irena used one of the three surnames she used in her life, tends to discredit her figure as a judge, to open the chapter of lies before vetting bodies and hit the credibility of the troupe she belongs to.

So, at first glance, it can be said that in this case, we are dealing with an alliance between the Greek government and its pro-press, with the local opposition and the media that support it, to exert pressure on the judicial process. From a formal point of view, it would look like this, and formally, the Supreme Judicial Council seems to have done its job, when it defended Irena Gjoka.

From the same point of view, all those who can't wait to shout about the interference of the Greek state in Albanian justice issues, have one more argument to shout. Even those who want to whip the opposition, that they are ready to sell the national interests for Saliu's problem, will hurry to do it. Once again the flag of nationalism will be waved up and down to accommodate the masquerades.

Because, in fact, the fable of what is happening is completely upside down: If the "patriots" point out that Athens is trying to intimidate Albanian justice, those who are sober should be concerned about the misery in which the prosecutors and judges have ended up born again" from the new justice.

If Irena Gjoka is what the Greek media have described to us, if she has lied to the vetting bodies about her dark past, such a thing explains very well what is happening today.

The problem is not in the fear of justice from those who are judging, but in the opposite, in its arrogance, that it is punishing in the name of the orders it has received from the government. If Irena Gjoka is found guilty, before pointing fingers at those who whitewashed her, fixed at this moment in the past, we must do this for those who knew her story and therefore decided to use her.

This is also shown by the facts. For anyone who has taken the trouble to browse the Freddie Beller trial file, there is no doubt that it is a pure political trial. Such a thing can be seen not only from the actions of SPAK, which has agreed to legitimize a file worthy of the KGB of Dzherzhinsky's time, but also from those of the judges of GJKKO (where Irena Gjoka is a member), who have refused to bring to the courtroom the witnesses needed by the defense, who have prolonged the examination of lawsuits for false witnesses, who have accepted police "secrets" to the detriment of the accused.

Such a process, with tampered evidence and flagrant violations, can only be staged by captured people. So when we talk about it, patriotic poses are worthless. The essence of this story does not lie in the intervention of Greece, but in the capture of justice. However brutal and brazen it may seem at first, the damage it brings is quite negligible in relation to the effect that the punishments imposed on the offices of power have. Irena with three surnames is the proof of how this scheme is implemented. Therefore, her case should not be passed over in silence, even when the denunciation is made by a flag bearer of "Hellenization" like Beleri.
