Fires in Delvina/ 5 injured in the Emergency Service for burns and asphyxiation

The fire that spread today in the Delvina area appears to have taken on large proportions, including in terms of damage and injuries.

So far, 5 people have presented themselves to the Emergency Service. It is learned that they were treated there for burns of varying degrees and health problems as a result of smoke asphyxiation.

Two other cases were sent to Saranda hospital.

Earlier in the afternoon, the Ministry of Defense, through Civil Protection structures, ordered the immediate evacuation of residents in the villages of Palavli, Vergo and Kopacez, in the Delvina Municipality, due to the risk of fires.

The Ministry called on all residents to respect civil emergency instructions and cooperate with the Police forces and local authorities, who are committed to protecting their lives and property. /CNA
