Wanted for criminal offenses/ 2 citizens arrested in Vlora

Intensive checks continue to capture wanted citizens, 2 citizens are arrested.

The structures of the Vlora Local Police Directorate and the Saranda Police Commissariat continue their work to apprehend wanted citizens and to execute court decisions against citizens under investigation or convicted.

In this context, the following citizens were detained:

- GD, 31 years old, resident of Vlora, who was wanted after the Vlora Court sentenced him to 1 year, 10 months and 17 days in prison for the criminal offense of "Intentional serious injury";

- KJ, 31 years old, resident of Saranda, against whom the Saranda Prosecutor's Office has issued a detention order, for the criminal offenses of "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime" and "Failure to report the crime", in connection with the event that occurred on 17.07.2025, in Saranda, where two citizens were injured with firearms.

The procedural materials were passed on to the relevant prosecutors for further action. /CNA
