Accused of a series of criminal offenses/ Denis Bajri's extradition

The procedures for the extradition of Albanian citizen Denis Bajri from the United Arab Emirates to Albania are being finalized.

Following the intensive cooperation of Interpol Tirana with its counterparts in the United Arab Emirates, within the framework of the international police operation codenamed "The Wanted", at around 16:30, the procedures for the extradition from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Albania, of Albanian citizen Denis Bajri, 37 years old, were finalized.

This citizen was declared internationally wanted, after the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime in Tirana assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses: "Premeditated murder", committed in a special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group; "Unauthorized production and possession of weapons and ammunition"; "Structured criminal group"; "Committing criminal offenses by a structured criminal group and criminal organization"; and "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder", committed in a special form of cooperation, that of a structured criminal group.

Citizen Denis Bajri, at the end of the procedures, was handed over to the General Directorate of Prisons. /CNA
