Internationally wanted for drug cultivation in Spain/ 39-year-old arrested

Following Operation "The Wanted", a 39-year-old man has been arrested on behalf of Spanish authorities.

EB, 39, has been arrested, to whom the Sabadell Court in Spain has imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison", accused of drug cultivation and electricity theft.

 

Police notification

Gjirokastër/The international police operation, codenamed "The Wanted", continues.

A 39-year-old man is accused in Spain of cultivating narcotic plants with bulbs in a closed environment and is arrested for extradition purposes.

As a result of the operational work of the Gjirokastra Police Commissariat services, carried out based on information obtained through operational channels, on the location of a citizen declared internationally wanted, on behalf of Spain, another phase of operation "The Wanted" was finalized.

During it, citizen EB, 39 years old, was located and arrested for extradition to Spain.

The Court of Sabadell, Spain, in June 2025, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the cultivation of narcotic plants and for theft of electricity, offenses for which in the Spanish Criminal Code, the maximum sentence is 6 years in prison. 

Interpol Tirana continues to cooperate with its counterparts at Interpol Madrid to finalize the procedure for the extradition of this citizen to Spain./ CNA
