Serious in Fier/ Girl kills father with wire, 26-year-old arrested

A serious incident has occurred in Fier. It is learned that a 26-year-old woman killed her father and presented the incident as an accident.

It is learned that the young woman committed the serious crime by strangling herself with a wire.

Fier Local Police Directorate - As a result of rapid and professional investigations, the dynamics and authorship of a family crime are revealed.

She killed her father, through strangulation (choking with a wire), and reported it to the police, around midnight, as an accidental event, the 26-year-old is arrested.

Her mother is being accompanied, as she is suspected of having collaborated in cleaning the body of the murdered 56-year-old, with the aim of staging the event as an accident.

As a result of professional and rapid investigations, carried out by specialists from the Serious Crimes Investigation Section of the Fier Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Fier Prosecutor's Office, following the report of citizen ER, 26 years old, at around 23:00 on 23.07.2025, that her father, citizen AR, 56 years old, had accidentally lost his life, in their apartment, in the village of Frashër, the "Staging" operation was finalized.

Police services, during the deposition of the 26-year-old and during the first investigative actions, have created suspicion that the loss of the 56-year-old's life was not accidental and for this reason, in-depth investigations have continued.

During these actions carried out in coordination with the Fier Prosecutor's Office, it resulted that citizen ER killed her father, citizen AR, for weak motives, with a strangulation device (strangulation with a wire).

Subsequently, the 26-year-old, in collaboration with her mother, also the wife of citizen AR, citizen VR, 53, allegedly attempted to prevent the discovery of the truth by cleaning the body of the 56-year-old. After these actions, citizen ER notified the Police.

The 53-year-old woman is currently being escorted to the premises of the Fier Local Police Directorate, where in-depth investigative actions are being carried out to determine the degree of her responsibility in relation to this case. At the conclusion of the investigative actions, there will be an additional announcement regarding the criminal responsibility of this citizen.

Also, investigations continue, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, with the aim of documenting with legal evidence all the circumstances of this case.

The procedural materials were referred to the Fier Prosecutor's Office for further action.
