Cannabis parcel found/41-year-old arrested in Fier

190 narcotic plants were found in a plot in the village of Çipllakë.

A 41-year-old man was arrested for cultivating the plants in the middle of a bushy area, with the intention of hiding them.

The services of the Fier Police Commissariat, as a result of intensive controls and investigations using proactive methods, which they continue to carry out within the framework of the "Coordination" operational plan, uncovered a case of cultivation of narcotic plants.

During the checks, in the territory of the village of Çipllakë, Libofshë administrative unit, a plot with 190 suspected narcotic Cannabis Sativa plants was found.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Fier Police Commissariat, at the conclusion of the procedural actions in this case, arrested the suspected perpetrator, citizen LT, 41 years old, in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense of "Cultivation of narcotic plants".

A small portion of the plants was seized as material evidence, while the rest was destroyed by burning.

The anti-cannabis police operation "Coordination" continues throughout the territory of the district.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier, for further action./CNA
