The police have published footage from the action in Maliq, in the apartment of the 62-year-old RM citizen, who was executed this morning after exchanging fire with RENEA and refusing to surrender.

As can be seen from the footage, the RENEA forces have entered the 62-year-old's apartment, whose walls are marked with bullet marks.

For hours they called on the RM citizen to surrender, but he refused and shot at the police.

The 62-year-old injured his wife and son yesterday evening, who are in the Korca hospital and are receiving appropriate treatment.

In the police response, it was emphasized that the 62-year-old man suffered from mental health problems and that the day before he had visited the psychiatric hospital but was not admitted to the hospital.

Further, the police informs that for 8 hours they surrounded the apartment of the 62-year-old man who was executed after he did not respond to the call of the police to surrender and exchanged fire with them.
