The 39-year-old man who cheated businessmen was arrested

DVP Tirana/Finalized police operation coded "The eye".

The operation was carried out by the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force Sector of DVP Tirana and the Rinas Police Station, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Tirana.

A 39-year-old man was arrested after he embezzled significant sums of money by promising tenders to various businessmen.

2 mobile devices, contracts and various documents, which the arrested person used for his fraud scheme, were seized.

Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in cooperation with the Sector of the Special Operational Force of the DVP Tirana and the Rinas Police Station, following the work to combat criminal activity in the field of economic crimes, in the direction of the Prosecution at the Court of the First Degree of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, have organized and finalized the coded police operation "The eye".

As a result of this operation, the citizen IA (K.), 39 years old, resident in Tirana, was arrested for the criminal offense "Fraud" with serious consequences, previously convicted for the same criminal activity.

From the verifications carried out, it has emerged that this citizen, through fraud, has appropriated significant sums of money from various businessmen, presenting himself as a senior official in institutions, and in exchange for monetary sums, he has promised them various tenders.

As material evidence, 2 mobile devices, contracts and various documents were seized which the suspected author used for his fraud scheme.

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further procedural actions.
