Wanted for murder/ Arrested 26-year-old man in Rinas

A 26-year-old man was put in police custody after being wanted for murder.

Through an official announcement, the police informs that the citizen with the initials H. Gj., 26 years old, was handcuffed at the "Mother Teresa" Airport, he was wanted for "Manslaughter" after on 31.03.2023, on the road "Vaso Pasha", citizen H. Gj. conflicted with the citizen GT, 46, where the latter was sent to the hospital, but as a result of the injuries, the 46-year-old died in the hospital.   

"As a result of the risk analysis and the in-depth actions during the verification of the genialities, at the entrance of RSh, a citizen declared wanted for "Manslaughter" was arrested.

Following the work to capture the wanted citizens and bring them to criminal responsibility, the services of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person, in cooperation with the Rinas Police Station, at the entrance of the Republic of Albania, as a result of the analysis of risk and in-depth actions during the verification of a citizen's credentials, have detained the citizen:

- H. Gj., 26 years old, resident in Tirana.

This citizen was declared wanted, after the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana, has assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offense of "Manslaughter".

On 31.03.2023, on "Vaso Pasha" street, citizen H. Gj. conflicted with the citizen GT, 46 years old, who due to injuries was sent to the hospital for medical assistance. During this conflict, the citizen A. Gj. also intervened, who hit the citizen H. Gj. As a result of the injuries, the 46-year-old man died in the hospital," said the police announcement./CNA.al
