The drug laboratory in Fier/GJKKO extends the investigations by 3 months

The Special Court has extended the investigations for the drug laboratory in Fier by 3 months.

The prosecution asked for the extension of the investigation because of a letter that has not yet arrived from Colombia.

We recall that the drug laboratory was captured in November 2022 in Frakull of Fier after an operation by the American DEA in cooperation with SPAK and the Montenegrin police.

The amount of 430 kilograms of cocaine was found in the laboratory. The drug was hidden in a shipment of chemical fertilizer that was ordered by the brother of the former mayor of Frakulla, Viktor ?ervanaku. The drugs left Colombia in May and arrived in Albania by truck from Montenegro in September.

At that time, Viktor Cervenaku, Zenel Cervenaku, Denilson Cervenaku, Enxhi Genci, Nikolin Gjolena, Klajdi Vrioni, Julian Malaj, Redion Meshi, Bledar Matoshi and Marildo Rona were arrested for this event./  CNA
