The coded police operation "Castellon 2" is being finalized by Fast Albania in close cooperation with DVP Tirana.

A 25-year-old man, wanted by the Spanish justice authorities, member of a criminal group in the field of cultivation and production of cannabis, is arrested and imprisoned.

Following the consecutive operations carried out by FAST Albania, in cooperation with the Local Police, for the capture of the persons announced as wanted internationally, another operation has been finalized, in close cooperation with DVP Tirana.

Based on the police intelligence, the FAST Albania unit in the General Directorate of the State Police, in close cooperation with the operational structures in the DVP Tirana, within the coded police operation "Castellon 2", made possible the capture and provisional arrest with the aim the extradition to Spain of the citizen:

GS, 25 years old, resident of Maqellare, Dibër.

The provisional arrest of this citizen was made after the Court of Castellon, Spain, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Drug trafficking", "Criminal organization" and "Theft of electricity", provided by the Criminal Code of Spain.

This citizen, in cooperation with other Albanian and Spanish citizens, rented houses in the area of ??Castelloni and adapted them to cultivate narcotic plants using lamps.

Interpol Tirana is following the legal procedures for his extradition to Spain
