The Police Services have been informed that in the village of Qesarakë, Maliq, a citizen of RM, 62 years old, had injured his wife PM, 58 years old, with a cutting tool on the leg and his son KM, 27 years old, on the head with a hard tool. they are currently in the hospital of Korça, under the care of doctors.

After receiving this notification, the Police immediately went to the given address, where they found the suspected perpetrator RM, who is armed with a firearm, locked in his apartment.

Police services surrounded the apartment and took security measures, after the 62-year-old man opened fire on the local police.

The "Renea" Special Forces have arrived at the scene, which in cooperation with the structures of DVP Korçë, as well as the services of the Malik Police Station, are keeping the area surrounded and are negotiating with the RM citizen, so that he surrenders, but 62- the year-old did not accept and continues to shoot in the direction of the Police forces.

According to preliminary statements received from his family members, it is suspected that the RM citizen suffers from mental health problems.

The operation to capture him is ongoing.
