Cannabis seedlings on polystyrene platforms/ 2 young men arrested in flagrante

Two young men were caught and arrested red-handed for attempting to cultivate cannabis in the village of Xhyrë, Librazhd.

Citizens OL, 24 years old, and RB, 26 years old, had cultivated seedlings of the narcotic plant cannabis sativa on polystyrene platforms.

During the operation, the seedlings were destroyed, and the vehicle in which the perpetrators were traveling to this area was seized, as well as 3 cell phones.

Announcement:

As a result of a proactive investigation carried out by the Librazhd Police Commissariat services, in cooperation with the services of the Elbasan Local Police Directorate and in coordination with the Prosecutor's Office, to document the criminal activity of 2 citizens, suspected of being involved in the cultivation of narcotic plants, the operation codenamed "First Phase" was carried out.

During this phase of the operation, citizens OL, 24 years old, and RB, 26 years old, both residents of the village of Xhyrë, were arrested.

They were caught red-handed, in the forested area of ??this village, where they had cultivated suspected narcotic Cannabis Sativa seedlings on polystyrene platforms.

Controls and investigations within the framework of the anti-cannabis operation "Phase One" continue.

The procedural materials were referred to the Elbasan Prosecutor 's  Office for further action./CNA
