Conflict in Tirana escalates into gunfire/ 5 people wanted

A conflict that occurred two days ago outside a bar on "Berisha" Street in Tirana has escalated into gunfire. One person has been prosecuted and five people are wanted in connection with the incident.

One of them is suspected of firing a gun. Police are working to apprehend them and clarify the full circumstances of the incident.

"The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Police Commissariat No. 5 referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen Xh. D at large and citizens R. S, R. S, F. Gj, D. D and R. Gj were declared wanted, since on 17.04.2026, it is suspected that on "Berisha" Street, outside the premises of citizen Xh. D's premises, a conflict occurred between several citizens and one of them is suspected of having fired a firearm. Work continues to arrest the wanted citizens and fully document the case ," the police statement said. /CNA
